Fun Events in the RGV, Local Markets!

This past weekend, we checked out Twilight Nite, and it was a perfect blend of food, drinks, and shopping—definitely worth marking your calendar for. Food trucks, blood chilling cocktails, and over 40 booth vendors all in one place thanks to STX Markets! While some people embraced the Twilight-themed outfits, it wasn’t a must—just a fun way to get into the spirit of the event. It was great to see so many families attend this event.

The Mix parking lot was packed with people of all ages visiting the many vendor booths. We had to make a stop at New Harvest Candle Co., where we snagged a chocolatey, Starbucks-inspired candle (yes, it smells as good as it sounds). Then, we grabbed the tastiest “uvas enchiladas” from Sugar Land—seriously, so good! And of course, we couldn’t leave without indulging in some Hot Cheetos and Cheese from Snack Attack.

Food trucks were everywhere, so the options were endless, but we went with Baja Fish Tacos for some fish and fries. Pro tip: upgrade to the Vegas Fries. You won’t regret it!. Staying with the theme, they had the Twilight movie playing outside. We sat and enjoyed it while sipping on some Juco Coffee. Markets are great events to attend…make sure you don’t miss out on the next one. HeyWhatsGoingOn has a dedicated section just for Markets…add them to your calendar and see you at the next one!
