• Get here early and enjoy Live performances by the Harlingen South High School’s Pop Choir, Tonal Harmony and the Mariachi Plata de Port Isabel High School performing your holiday favorites.
• A festive culinary experience featuring traditional Posada favorites:
tamales, pozole, buñuelos, pan dulce, and hot chocolate
• A breathtaking 600-drone light show illuminating the night sky with scenes inspired by our unique borderland holiday culture and traditional Christmas themes.
• All set to an electrifying soundtrack by Grammy®-nominated DJ/Producer El Dusty, the pioneer of Nu Cumbia — a genre blending electronic dance beats with Latin American rhythms set to bring the crowd to its feet! Dusty’s music captures the soul of South Texas, transforming the Posada experience into a high-energy celebration that bridges tradition and innovation.
• The musical centerpiece of the evening will be a captivating acoustic performance by acclaimed country music artist Nestor Andress, marking his debut at the Cameron County Amphitheater. Blending timeless holiday favorites with his heartfelt original songs, Nestor brings a unique warmth and authenticity to the stage. With a voice that resonates deeply and songwriting that speaks to the soul, this remarkable homegrown talent has proudly represented Brownsville and the Rio Grande Valley on stages from Nashville and beyond.
