On Saturday September 6th, MARQUEZ Promotions will be heading the boxing card at the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg. It will be a night to remember being that all bouts scheduled have excitement written all over them. Boxing aficionados will be jumping and hollering in support of their local favorite fighters as they put on the combative gloves to do battle.
The 10-bout fight card features:
Main Event: Eridson Garcia (20-2, 12 KO’s) of the Dominican Republic, ready to bring his explosive style to the ring.
Co-Main Events:
Marquis ‘0 Snatcher’ Taylor, WBC ranked #13 Middleweight contender (18-1-2, 3 KO’s).
Chavon Stillwell-Davis, undefeated and fighting for the ABO Light Heavyweight Title (5-0, 4 KO’s).
Plus, Texas’ own knockout artist Eduardo “Pachi” Castillo, unbeaten fan favorite Jared “Papi Chulo” Mercado, and a stacked undercard featuring rising stars from the Rio Grande Valley, including Adolfo Alanis, Daniel “El Giro” Polanco, Homero “El Oso” Fonseca, Ricardo “Pitbull” Castillo, and Edinburg’s own Eleazar Julio “El Técnico” Avitia making his pro debut!
